Jared Goff vs CIN – Goff and Co. head across the pond to whip up on the Bengals. Cincinnati is top 5 in points allowed to opposing QBs (21.9 FPPG). Fire up Goff in another plus match-up.
Josh Allen vs PHI – Allen and the Bills host Philly this week, who are the definition of a pass funnel defense. They have arguably the best run defense in the league to pair with the worst passing defense, which creates a perfect storm for Allen to hook up with John Brown for tons of fantasy points.
Mason Rudolph vs MIA – Rudolph is a 14.5 point home favorite against the Dolphins this week, who are 2nd in the league with 24.4 points allowed to Quarterbacks per game. He couldn’t have asked for a better time to return from injury.
*Teddy Bridgewater (or Breesus) vs ARI – Teddy will likely make his last start on Sunday at home against the Cardinals who surrender 22.6 FPPG to QBs. Brees should be back after the bye next week. Patrick Peterson is back in the secondary for Arizona and could shadow Michael Thomas, but there’s no way you can sit MT after the year he’s had. I can’t see Sean running Brees and Kamara out the week before the bye against the Cards when they’re 6-0 with Bridgewater, but I guess we’ll see.
Ryan Tannehill vs TB – Tannehill looked good in his first start for the Titans last week. He scored 23.18 fantasy points and resurrected the passing game. Now, he gets the Bucs in Nissan Stadium, who have managed to make Kyle Allen, Daniel Jones, and Mitchell Trubisky look good.
*Long shot of the Week – Derek Carr @ HOU
James Conner vs MIA – The Dolphins are 2nd in the league in points allowed to opposing RB’s with 26 FPPG. Conner is an easy start, fresh off the bye and in Rudolph’s return to action. He should serve as a security blanket and be leaned on heavily in this one.
Todd Gurley vs CIN – Gurley has found the end zone for 3 straight weeks and now gets the Bengals 32nd ranked rushing defense, who are allowing 26.8 FPPG to RBs.
Aaron Jones @ KC – Jones found his way out of the doghouse last week and had 12 carries for 50 yards and caught all 4 targets for an additional 33 yards and a touchdown. He’s back to splitting touches with the Little Mermaid, but both should be fine. Now he’s onto Arrowhead to face the Chiefs, lead by journeyman Matt Moore, who are allowing 21.2 FPPG to backs.
Chris Carson @ ATL – Carson disappointed last week against the Ravens, as expected. If you haven’t sold high by now, you’ll have one more chance to do so after he has a field day against the Falcons. Here are his next 5 games: Bucs, 49ers, Eagles, Vikings, Rams.
Ty Johnson vs NYG – This is presumably who you just blew your FAAB for. Start him up. The Giants are 5th in points allowed to RBs with 22.6 and Kerryon has been sent to IR. Don’t worry about JD McKissic.
*Long shots of the week – Latavius Murray vs ARI, Sony Michel vs CLE
Kenny Stills vs OAK – Poor Will Fuller is just too fast for his hammies and is now sidelined, in walks Kenny Stills. Oakland is giving up the 2nd most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, averaging 29.5 points per game. This is the week to stack your Texans.
DK Metcalf @ ATL – Russ and the rest of the flock are about to take the Falcons to pound town. ATL is 5th in the league with 28 FPPG allowed to WRs and they can’t all go to Lockett. (Pls no Jaron Brown/David Moore) Fire up DK in the dome this week who has seen 575 air yards, which ranks 23rd among WRs across the league.
Terry McLaurin @ MIN – Terry let us down last week and was better left on the bench in the torrential downpour, but now he faces an overrated Vikings secondary. Someone must’ve told Marvin Jones it was Thanksgiving because he absolutely feasted on Xavier Rhodes, as he historically does. Look for Terry to bounce back this week against Minnesota, who is giving up the 10th most fantasy points to WRs (25.1).
Corey Davis vs TB – Davis missed practice Wednesday with an illness, but should be fine for Sunday. The former 5th overall pick looked like a new man with Tannehill at the helm and caught 6 of 7 for 80 yards and a TD. Look for more of the same this week from him and AJ Brown against the Bucs, who are giving up 29.1 FPPG, third most in the league.
John Brown vs PHI – The Eagles secondary is 1st in the league in points allowed to WRs, averaging 31.8 FPPG. They are the flowchart play for WR. John Brown has been a monster this year and continues to be undervalued. Fire him up with confidence.
*Long shots of the week – AJ Brown vs TB, Keke Coutee vs OAK, DaeSean Hamilton @ IND
Travis Kelce vs GB – This is the Travis Kelce smash week we’ve been waiting for. We will finally be rewarded for our steadfast faith and early draft picks. Green Bay had no answer whatsoever for Darren Waller last week, and Matt Moore should look his way early and often when they’re not pounding the rock.
Gerald Everett vs CIN – Everett has been balling recently and is averaging 14.25 fantasy points over his last 4 contests and has seen 8, 5, 11, and 10 targets. Fire him up against the Bengals, in what should be a bloodbath in London.
*OJ Howard @ TEN – This game has sneaky shootout potential. The Titans are giving up 8.9 FPPG to opposing TEs, which is 7th most in the league. Maybe this is the week he finally gets rolling, if he gets over this hamstring injury and suits up. If not, look to stream Cameron Brate in a pinch.
*Long shots of the week – TJ Hockenson vs NYG, Jonnu Smith vs TB, Darren Fells vs OAK
Jaguars vs Jets – The Jets have been abysmal this year and now head down to Sacksonville. Darnold’s seeing ghosts and I hear the swamp is haunted. The Jets are 1st in the league in points allowed to opposing D/ST with 16.8 FPPG.
Rams vs Bengals – The Rams embarrassed the Falcons at home last week with newly acquired CB Jalen Ramsey. Now they travel to London to face Andy Dalton’s Bengals, who are turning the ball over at an alarming rate.
Steelers vs Dolphins – You know the drill.
*Long shots of the week – Panthers @ 49ers, Cardinals @ Saints
Mitch Trubisky vs LAC – Trubisky saved his fantasy day last week against the Saints with two garbage time touchdowns, making for some misleading production. Even after the bye week, that offense still looks like hot garbage with only Allen Robinson looking like a safe every week starter. Sit Trubisky against the 5th ranked pass defense.
Jacoby Brissett vs DEN – Jacoby balled tf out last week and carved Houston up, but don’t chase the points. Denver is giving up the 3rd fewest points per game to QBs (11.2), only trailing the 49ers and Patriots. Frank Reich and Co. should still get it done, but it’s probably gonna be a Mack game.
Baker Mayfield @ NE – Baker and the Browns are being sent to die in New England this week. They had an extra week of practice, but sit Baker against the defense allowing just 6.3 points per game to QB’s. That’s no typo either (thanks Sam Darnold).
Carson Wentz @ BUF – Is Wentz a fraud? The jury is still out, but what we do know is that the Eagles offensive line might as well be non-existent. Sit Wentz against the Bills defense allowing 13.0 fantasy points per game to QB’s.
Derrick Henry vs TB – El Tractorcito has been as solid as they come this season, but comes up against the number one ranked rush defense in the league. There is probably no way you can afford to sit him, but don’t expect much this week, unless they get him involved in the passing game like the Rams did with Gurley.
Josh Jacobs @ HOU – Here is another stud that finds his name on the sit list. Jacobs is the real deal and is making his way towards being an elite RB, but if you can afford to sit him against the 3rd ranked rush defense, do it. They allow the 8th fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs.
Melvin Gordon @ CHI – Melvin looks like a clown right now for missing preseason and demanding a trade to get his money. Both him and the Chargers have been struggling and should continue to do so against the Bears who are still a top 10 defense.
Joe Mixon @ LAR – Joe Mixon is still uber talented right? I’m still a believer, but this Bengal’s offensive line would make even Saquon struggle. Sit Joe until week 11 against Oakland.
Alshon Jeffery @ BUF – The Eagles offense looks awful right now, sit Big Jeff who goes up against Tre’Davious White (maybe the number one CB in the league) this week.
Keenan Allen @ CHI – Chargers look bad. Like really bad. Keenan is a stud, but has had four straight duds and goes against the defense that’s allowing the fourth least points per game to WR’s this season (17.2)
DJ Moore @ SF – Sit anyone not named Christian McCaffrey against the Niners this week. They kept the boy Scary Terry to 2.10 PPR points last week.
Jarvis Landry @ NE – Even though OBJ will get the Stephon Gilmore treatment, sit Jarvis against the Pats who will probably have Baker seeing the ghosts Darnold was talking about on Monday.
Greg Olsen @ SF – Don’t start any Panther besides CMC this week.
Chris Herndon @ JAX – After what we saw Monday night, you’d have to be crazy to fire up the Jets this week. I understand playing Bell and maybe taking a shot with Robby, but Herndon hasn’t played football in 7 weeks and is still nursing a hamstring injury. Even if he suits up, I’m out.
Zach Ertz @ BUF – Is Ertz no longer an elite TE? He sure hasn’t performed like one this season and with Dallas Goedert getting a more prominent role, he’s been losing value by the week. Don’t expect much from Ertz who goes up against a defense allowing just 3.2 fantasy points per game to opposing TE’s. The only positive is the targets are still there, so stay patient or buy low before the deadline.
Packers @ Chiefs – Even if there is no Mahomes, the Packers are going to struggle keeping the Chiefs run game in check. All the offensive weapons are still there and will keep the Pack honest. Mahomes is still not ruled out btw.
Eagles @ Bills – The Eagles Swiss cheese secondary is no match for Josh “Big Hands” Allen this week. He looks good in shorts too.
Lions vs Giants – The Giants played awful in what looked like a possible shootout versus the Cardinals last week, but don’t expect the same this week as the Giants offense looks to be back at full strength.
