Quarterbacks

Patrick Mahomes ($7,400vs OAK – This week, you’re either paying all the way up for Mahomes in Arrowhead against the Raiders (7th in Points Allowed to QBs), or all the way down for the Red Rifle. You don’t need me to convince you on this one. Tyreek will be suiting up it appears after pulling a hammy two weeks prior. You can stack him affordably with Sammy in cash, or pay up for Kelce/Tyreek in tournaments.

Ryan Tannehill ($5,700) @ IND – Tannewheels curbstomped the Jaguars last week, completing 14/18 passes for 259 yds and 2 TDs and ran for another 40 yds and 2 TDs. Since Tannehill became the starter, only Lamar Jackson has averaged more fantasy points per game. He’s only 1k more than Andy Dalton if that’s too gross for you and he’s against the Colts in Lucas Oil Stadium, who have been eviscerated in the passing game recently by Nick Foles and Deshaun Watson.

Andy Dalton ($4,700) vs NYJ – Like a phoenix from the ashes, Andrew Dalton returns to the starting lineup at a mere $4,700. With the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft seemingly locked up, it appears the Bengals are going to try to win a football game this year. The Jets already dropped one against the tanking Miami Dolphins, so it’s not inconceivable that the Bengals get their first W at home in Week 13 against a defense that’s been pretty middle of the road in terms of points allowed.

Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey ($10,500) vs WAS – If you didn’t find a way to jam CMC in last week and started your lineup with Alvin Kamara instead, you likely paid for it unless the Tractor bailed you out with his vintage Jags performance. Draft Kings appears to have set a ceiling of 10.5k for CMC and I’m no longer fighting it. He’s gotta be your first guy in and then you just gotta make the rest work.

Saquon Barkley ($7,400) vs GB – I know that Saquon hasn’t been what we expected this year, but $7,400 at home vs Green Bay’s run funnel defense is just too cheap–especially on a slate without Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, or Ezekiel Elliot. I think Shurmur rushed him back from his high ankle sprain, due to pressure from the media and front office after footage leaked of Barkley in practice shortly after the injury. Now, he should finally be back near 100% and in a great match-up at home vs GB who ranks 4th in PA to RBs, averaging 23 FPPG.

Josh Jacobs ($6,900) @ KC – I’m hoping last week was a fluke, because we saw Jacobs take a downturn after seeing 10 carries and only 1 target, with the game out of hand. Back in Week 2 when these teams first met, Jacobs went for 99 rushing yards, but saw 0 targets. After his development and acclimation to the league, we’ve only seen his role grow, so, I’m hoping we’re in for a big game here from JJ. Kansas City is first in PA to opposing RBs, averaging just over 25 points per game. This game has the highest O/U on the slate, set at 51 points.

Phillip Lindsay ($5,000) vs LAC – It appears something is wrong with Royce Freeman, though I have no idea what. Lindsay continues to distance himself and the touch distribution only widens each week. Despite Freeman still seeing about half the snaps, the carries/targets just aren’t there anymore. The Bolts are 8th in PA to RBs, avg. 21.6 FPPG. Last time @ LA in Week 5, Lindsay torched them for 27.7 fantasy points. Now he gets them at home in Mile High. At only $5,000, Lindsay is a great cash and tournament play.

Wide Receivers

DJ Chark ($6,600) vs TB – Chark is the real deal, man. He’s averaging 10.5 targets, 63.3 rec yds, and has 3 touchdowns over his past 4 games. Now he faces the Bucs’ pass funnel defense that is 1st in PA to WRs, averaging 31.7 FPPG. This is a get right spot at home for Foles after two lousy performances in divisional road games.

Tyler Boyd ($5,500) vs NYJ – We finally saw the life breathed back into Tyler Boyd last week, catching 5 of 9 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. With Dalton back under center, look for him to continue to soak up targets against the Jets, who are 10th in PA to WRs, averaging 25.2 FPPG. If you need to get cheaper, I don’t mind stacking Auden Tate at only $3,800 either.

Sammy Watkins ($5,400) vs OAK – I don’t know if we’ll ever get another performance like Week 1 from Watkins, but as long as he keeps getting 8-10 targets from Patrick Mahomes, you can roll him out there. Oakland is 8th in PA to WRs, averaging 25.9 FPPG and this game has the highest total on the slate. I think Sammy’s a lock for 10 points, but we’ve seen the massive ceiling he has. I’m fine with him for cash, but would find a way to pay for Tyreek in GPPs.

AJ Brown ($5,300) @ IND – AJ Brown broke out all over the place last week, again, for 135 yds and a touchdown. Now he heads to Lucas Oil to take on the Colts, who just let Hopkins and Fuller go wild for combined 234 yds 2 TDs and DJ Chark for 104 yards and 2 TDs the week prior. The Titans appear to have caught fire, and I’m staying in the flames, especially in a game without Marlon Mack and TY Hilton.

Alshon Jeffery ($5,100) @ MIA – Carson Wentz may finally have someone to throw the football at in Week 13 against the Dolphins. Sidelined since Week 9, Jeffery finally returns to the lineup. At $5,100 he’s safe to pencil in to lineups against Miami’s 26th ranked passing defense that allows 26.8 FPPG to WRs.

Tight Ends

Dallas Goedert ($4,100) @ MIA – If Ertz sits this one out, Godert becomes pretty chalky. The sophomore TE has stepped up in a big way this year for the Eagles and would likely be an elite starting TE for several other teams. Averaging just over 10 FPPG over his last 4, fire Goedert up if Ertz isn’t available come Sunday.

Jack Doyle ($3,300) vs TEN – If you aren’t eating the flowchart Higbee chalk, Doyle seems like the only other obvious play. Mack and Hilton are out and Ebron was sent to IR, and somehow Doyle is only $3,300 at home against the Titans, who have struggled to cover TEs.

Tyler Higbee ($2,500) @ ARI – This is your minimum priced flowchart chalk play of the week. Everett is sitting this one out, making the decision easier, but Higbee had out-snapped him anyway the past 2 weeks. In case you need a reminder, Arizona gives up 14.5 FPPG to TEs, ranking 1st in the league.

Defenses

Cardinals ($2,300) vs LAR – Jared Goff has been exposed for the fraud he is this year and has scored exactly 6 fantasy points in each of his last 3 games. The Rams are clearly broken and the Cardinals have looked good the last 2 weeks against other turnover prone QBs in Jameis Winston and Jimmy G.
